I've been wanting to go here for over 2yrs. IT WAS SO WORTH IT. Marion is an absolute gem and she has vast knowledge of everything pertaining to her collection. I was not expecting this museum to be so incredibly vast. It was pretty incredible to hear her tell the history, function and more about every piece in her collection. She is an amazingly skilled artist in her own right, but the foresight to collect and beautifully display everything... just blew my mind. She answers questions all along the tour and is so wonderfully gracious and kind. I will be recommending this to EVERY person I know. Please, do the absinthe tasting & tour. It is more than worth it. The gift shop is so fun, and a perfect idea for all kinds of gifts to anyone. The gifts you will find are so unique and incredible! I just wanted everything! I can not wait to go shopping in her store for any gifts I may need. Or not need. Tbh, I want at least one of everything. Follow the social media for special events and so forth. I will be back, because there is so much to look at and I need everyone in my circle of peeps to experience this.

There is a ton of street- parking open. The bathroom was pointed out at the beginning of the tour, and Marion also checked in during the tour to make sure everything felt comfortable and safe. I love her and her museum. 💕 Marion, I'll be coming back, most...

Good place to visit in a small group, not so great for events. We came here around Christmas and had a wonderful time. My friends booked this place for my bachelorette party and did not go so well.

It switched from fun to uncomfortable in about 20 minutes. Our host was clearly not into the event, despite charging $38 a head. When it became apparent to the host that having a group of women together for a bachelorette meant it would not be just about her, she became very rude. The “tour” was beyond awkward and she clammed up and gave us short, snide answers and a cold shoulder after she insisted on corralling us downstairs. After enough of the awkwardness, cold shoulder, and rude comments, we ended up leaving early, packed the food we didn’t get to completely eat, and washed the bad taste out of our mouth elsewhere. I had to apologize to my guests for it turning so weird which was a real shame considering I was excited to share this place with them. I understand this is also a home- please do not offer special events if you are not comfortable doing so. Will not be going back, still have an odd...

I came here with a girlfriend, and our tour was combined with another small group of 3 people, which ended up being a really fun addition to our experience. Our host was a lot of fun, the collection was amazing, and Max (the papillon) was our additional tour guide. We had the “Death in the afternoon” absinthe tour, which was great! I don’t want to give too much away, but the first drink was absolutely fabulous.

There are a couple of things I think it would be helpful for you to know when you go there. The tour is in her private home so be respectful and mindful of that fact. Show up on time for your appointment, but not too early or you could run into the tail end of the last tour. We showed up about 15 minutes early, I recommend just being on time. Again, we had a wonderful time and highly recommend this tour if you can make it especially when the Krampus tree...

This was the last place I visited during my 2 week visit to Vancouver/Portland and it was totally worth it. When I first found this place online I thought it was just going to be a basic oddity shop and I was pleasantly surprised when I learned it’s a much more intimate experience than that. Marion was super nice and accommodating but there was some confusion and awkwardness on both our parts at first because I don’t think she expected me to bring my 4 year old baby bat and honestly, if I had known ahead of time that it wasn’t a regular shop then I might have left her with a baby sitter before going. Regardless, Marion did warm up to us and it was a really good tour. I can’t wait to go back next year with my wife!

A wonderful collection and museum. This is going to be one of the MUST DO things for us when we have friends and family visit. You might wonder how the tour will take 2 hours when you first walk in, but dont worry because there is more to see than you will be able to view in 2 hours. The collection is wonderful, full of truly rare antiques and handcrafted art from across the globe. Keep in mind you are entering someones home and prepare to act respectfully.
