Kiggins Bowl is going through a much needed facelift. Kiggins Bowl is getting revamped and looks great. Lots of high school memories and hijinks took place at the Kiggins---It's nestled in the dip next to I-5. Recommended --take a trip down memory lane and enjoy the new cleaned up look;

Great place to see a football game. Lots of parking, half the stands are covered... bring a stadium chair or blanket to sit on, or the concrete gets hard and cold. Safe place for younger siblings to run around with friends. Bathrooms up at top.

They have football and soccer game field. My kids were soccer assistant referee job at there. They had a great time with players and viewers. Good experience for teenagers. Field is a good condition.

Up until last night I would have posted five stars...

Most, if not all HS stadiums, utilize modern day technology. After returning to WA after our kids all played football here from 2004-2012, we were thrilled to see our latest sons playing where their older Navy brothers played as Thunder, and various CCYF teams. As parents to Senior at Union this year, we happily travel near and far to watch our Titans with much dedication and enthusiasm. I will say that admission prices to games have gotten rather costly, and I understand the need to charge. But first off, let’s not forget it’s our kids that are playing and therefore the reason stadiums have opportunity to charge these admission fees (some families are not rich and at times can’t come and enjoy their kids playing. Especially siblings). But what happened to my husband last night should not have happened at all. And I have to assume it wasn’t a one-time occurrence.

As stated, the reason I am posting my concern is to bring awareness of this blatant disregard for a football player’s parent, which I’m hopeful will not happen to another well meaning parent who just wants to see their kid play football. My husband rushed from his job in Portland, rushing through traffic, rain, trying to get to the 5pm game, with hopes of catching as much as he could. I arrived much earlier and found a place to sit. As a disabled veteran, my foot was really messing with me the night prior and that night. Climbing stairs only caused more pain. When he arrived he assumed he had monetary means to get in - NEVER had a problem or embarrassing issue in all the 20+ years our 4 sons have played America’s greatest game! But he found only $3 in wallet. Asked if they took cards. NO. Asked if they would take a check. Another NO. Asked if he could go get money from me. NO!! These adults would not let him through!! In fact, now he had to go back in the rain - find an open Chevron and use their ATM - and pay a three dollar fee to get enough cash to get into the game! This was ridiculous. This wasnt a Seahawks game. This is our kids playing football on a Friday night. Truthfully, they could and should have held his ID and he would’ve obviously come back to give them the three dollars since they needed the three dollars that bad!

Today we are here for a CCYF Titan game, and I made sure we had enough cash. All I can say is I’m glad games are at McKenzie rest of the year. And parents-make sure you have plenty of cash when at Kiggins games. They will refuse checks. And from what I can ascertain, in all due respect, plain common...

Hudson's Bay H.S. Class of 1984 Graduate. Muggins bowl has been there since,my parents attended the old Fort Vancouver H.S. downtown now torn down for many moons it's Section 8 low income housing offices now but my point is Community stop complaining it's wet and damp in the winter time and how many kids have passed through there in 60+years my mom graduated in 1950 and just passed away at age 85 love you mom rip best mom ever. But, have some community fund raisers car washes,we had bake sales galore and auctions,bazaars,yard and rummage sales etc.find out what parents do what for discount or free labor get involved I 55 now so, times a wasting if your kids are whey grow from their h.s glory years too. Amazing Middle school sports stadium. Absolutely beautiful, great seating and view. Great concession stand.

My only complaint is the concession stand was quite far from the standa (I had a medical boot on), and the steps from the stands to the field level to reach concessions, is quite steep and has...
