Starbucks...what else is there to say about their coffee. Agree with their practices or not, they make a good cup of coffee.

But coffee isnt the takeaway from this review. the location and their hours are what they really got going for them. they are located at top of Uptown, in Vancouver - arguably the best part of the city.

I go to this Starbucks regularly and always have a positive experience. I want to give special recognition to Talia, who is the best barista in the city, in my opinion. She knew my name and my beverage by my second visit, she is always friendly and strikes up a conversation, she is a master of the drink queue and the wait time is very short, and perhaps most importantly, her drinks are delicious. I was happy for my hot mocha but it still isn't as good as Peets coffee biggest reason is the small beverage has one shot of espresso and you pay extra for the extra shot. Now Peets small beverage automatically comes with 2 shots making it very tasty. It's amazing how much that extra shot makes the drink amazing but I won't pay extra for the extra shot in fact normally don't go to Starbucks unless it's an emergency...
