Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was pleasantly surprised. We were actually on our way down a little bit further south to go to another Beach but since we were just exploring when I saw that there was a beach access parking lot here. There's plenty of parking though it does fill up. There are some shaded areas in the parking lot. It also has a bathroom and a rinse off station. Many of the other places that we stopped at had no amenities. TY sand is soft and there was a decent surf. It's not the tiny granule white sand like Anna Maria Island beach is but it was still good. It's a short walk down the boardwalk to get to the water. There's also some covered pavilion style table areas off of the boardwalk and they're somewhat shaded also.
I'm really glad we stopped here. The name is a little bit unusual and I don't know why it is called Service club Park so I'm sure a lot of people that are tourists bypass it....
