Redwood Vermilion — Attraction in Vermilion Township

We origionally rated this property as 5 stars but have to lower it due to renewal costs. While we love the property and the people running this location, the corporate office is raising the rent dramatically unless we sign a 15 month lease and even then, the rates are going up. They have 4 units already during empty and both our neighbors and I are leaving because it's becoming so expensive and there are zero amenities.

It is by far the nicest community I have lived in. The office lady is so helpful and goes out of her way to assist in any way she can. The maintenance guy is the friendliest maintenamce guy and goes above an beyond. They both are excellent with communication and if they say they will be there at a acertain time, they are there. When we first moved in in 2016, everything looked well kept and fresh, since then we feel thongs have gone downhill. Landscaping is not kept up, ruts, rocks moved, and dead shrubs. Water is not metered for each unit, so you pay an equal share of your side of the street. No way it is a fair bill when some units only have one person and others have 3 or 4. I placed a maintenance order d/t air conditioning quit working. It was a Friday after I’d returned home from work and I assumed that I would hear from someone probably by Monday, but within a couple hours I received a call from Jeremiah who asked if it would be okay to come look at it in the next 30 minutes. He was polite, fixed the problem quickly and even fixed the screen door for the sliding glass door without me even asking him too! He did an excellent job and informed me of what the problem was...
