I have always been hesitant to review this place in fear of attracting more people, but it is just too amazing to not discuss given how close I live. This amazing place is basically in my backyard and I couldn’t be more thankful. The peace, serenity, nature and paths are just outstanding. They should make more use of the amazing concert space, but do have a few concerts in the summertime. This is one my my favorite places to walk. It never gets old. It’s very small, but inviting. It is a great place for family and wedding photos which we see being taken here often. It’s nestled in between the high school and Deerpath park. There is even a great small fishing pond just to the South of the theater that is nice too. There are plenty of gazebos benches and other places to sit. There is also a parking lot if you are...

We went for the Thursday evening concert and it was wonderful! There are trees for shade, short concrete border walls for the ground beds which act as an excellent seating option if you don't want to bring your own chair or sit on the grass. You can sit in the grassy area, but also on a stone patio or the bike path if you don't want to be in the grass. I also expected a lot of bugs but I wasn't bothered at all last night and I didn't even have bug spray on! Bring drinks and snacks and a blanket and it's a wonderful evening of singing, dancing and hanging with...

This is a gorgeous park that I have always preferred for walks and bike rides since they built it. It was a favorite location for me to complete my photography assignments when I was in school with the flowering trees, the weaving water and pathways, and the sloping hills and bridges. They occasionally have concerts there and the stage area is gorgeous. There are plenty of pokéstops throughout the park, three of which you can reach from the gazebo in the...

Such a beautiful place! It's small overall but quite nice, quality over quantity. Perfect place for family pictures (something we have had done here) and relaxing walks. It has a bathroom (didn't use but looks well maintained) and connects directly to Deerpath Park and the Castle playground for kids. Vernon Hills Park District continues to crush the landscaping and natural setting game, it's no small wonder they've been up for national awards.

Such a nice and peaceful little park! Not too crowded and very well maintained. Easy parking, and connected to Deerpath park and kid’s Castle park. Come here if you just want to have a quiet morning/evening stroll. A plus side, it has restrooms too!
