Rockville Public Library is one of my favorite places ever in Vernon-Rockville.
I'm a long time library patron and a resident for more than 25 years, I have come to my beloved historic library with my family. I really use my beloved library card for checking out books, movies, magazines and music CD's. Also, we have plenty of great resources from reference as well.
At Adult Department, we have a reading room, mysteries, large print books (fiction/nonfiction), a great selection of Holocaust stuff which was located upstairs and this is nearby the nonfiction selection was on the right side, cake pans and other things there at adult department.
At the conference room, we have a great selection of local history items about Vernon-Rockville and the Loom City (books, high school yearbooks, and etc.) which is really awesome and it's uses for library use only especially for researching local history.
At Children's Department, we have a awesome selection of age-appropriate children's books with easy to read, holidays, juvenile fiction with chapter books, DVD's movies (Disney etc.) and then, checking out a brand new blue carpet on the floor which is really nice.
The staff was super nice and knowledgeable whose right for checking out library materials, the interior is definitely beautiful, the atmosphere is very nice and the whole entire of my historic library building is excellent.
Highly recommended for my family, Vernon-Rockville citizens, residents and visitors as well.

I love this library because I'm so grateful that they have a lot to offer including books and movies as well as museum passes, cake pans and even things from the new Library of Things collection.
They have a wonderful Children's room for the little ones. There's also the Teen area for Young Adults as well.
I'm currently an intern here. If you're interested, don't hesitate to plan on meeting me. I'm here Monday and Friday mornings...
Read morePassing through town I decided to stop in the local library. Boy, what a surprise I got. A wonderful, insightful young employee was setting up April's display of baseball books and we had a wonderful discussion about baseball, and how we cried during the movie Moneyball when Beane's insight proven true, and when the A's lost in the end. What a bright light of a young man this library has. Hopefully he stays on and improves this community for...
