West Essex Trail — Attraction in Verona

Nice flat trail for walking and, in some cases, biking. Paths are not wide enough for bikes and pedestrians, but through communication, pedestrians can step to the side.

Wildlife you can expect out of the blue and some photographic opportunities. There's cafés and deli nearby that you can stop at halfway to grab a beverage, a bite to eat, or both.

This 6 mile long trail is flat. Beginner friendly. Well maintained. There are benches along the way. The trial runs along the neighborhood. You can see some nice river, roads and houses along the way. The trial ends at a railroad . You have to your way back the trial to the parking. There are some raspberry plants along the way. At this point in time Google maps has the wrong address for the entrance of this trail. Google maps brought us to a private property. We did not want to trespass private property to get to the trail.
