I had gone looking for the perfect "mother of the bride" dress. That day I came back from Moulton dress shop unable to find the dress that was perfect. I stopped by Jade & Madalynn and spent quite some time there trying on dresses. After finding the perfect item I was so happy. I went to the register and hung it on a rack there. I went to my vehicle to get my purse and was confronted by the sales lady. She asked me what I had done with the item. I told her I hung it up next to her on the rack and had only come outside to get my purse. She said she looked in my dressing room and at the register and it was not there. I told her again that it was hanging on the only rack next to the register. She went inside and I followed her with my purse in hand. When I walked back in everyone was staring at me. I have no idea what scene she made prior to confronting me outside. I was embarrassed and humiliated. She asked me again in front of everyone and I pointed to the rack. She stood in front of the rack and said she still did not see it. There was only 3 items on this rack. I pointed again at the rack and she finally saw it and smiled. Not sure if she felt silly or embarrassed for this scene but regardless thats not how you conduct yourself. One of my students was there which only made things more awkward. I knew I really needed this item and did not want to take a risk of her not allowing me to purchase it. I asked her if she was accusing me of stealing. ONLY at this point she apologized. She said she was sorry "BUT".... You should never say that you are sorry and then back it up with a "BUT". She proceeded to explain she was the only one working and ..... Not sure how that was my fault that she was left alone in the store. I didn't need to know this. "Im sorry" is simple and easy to say. Not "Im sorry, but Im alone in the store and ...." The sales lady that helped me in the beginning was helpful and sweet. I give her 5 stars. I guess she left to lunch and I was stuck with the owners daughter. She definitely needs some management training. Very unsatisfied with my experience. The only good thing from that was that I did get my dress. So I would encourage everyone going there. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PURSE...

I was searching online for a dress and came across Casablanca. I immediately knew I wanted a Casablanca dress. I live in La Grange and decided to take the trip to Victoria to try on dresses. Well, lo and behold, I fell in love with my dress and put a down payment on my dress.
2 months later find out I’m pregnant and my beautiful size 4 wedding dress will no longer fit me. At 11 weeks pregnant I miscarried. I contacted the store and set an appointment to try on my dress. Devastated from the miscarriage and now my dress doesn’t fit.
The staff here immediately understood and helped me with my alterations to make the dress fit. The alterations lady gave me hug while I was crying, told me not to worry, and we worked it out. This was hands down the best experience I’ve ever had trying on dresses.
If you are getting married and want to be treated like the queen you deserve to be, this is your place. Please, please, PLEASE buy from this place. You won’t be...
Read moreThis bridal shop is the best I have ever had the privilege of doing business with. The staff went out of their way with very short notice to accommodate me (mother-of-groom) and my daughter (sister of the groom) with dresses that were purchased at another bridal shop. My dress was purchased locally and and my daughters dress was purchased out of town. Both dresses needed alterations. Mine needed straps put on it (which I was never told the dress even had straps by the other local bridal shop.) Even though We did not purchase the dresses from them, they were willing to help us get both dresses fitted properly. All the alterations were done in a timely manner by Jade and Madeline, and did I mention this all took place during the super busy prom season! This store is great, and the staff is willing to go above and beyond to help with your...
