JESSIE is AMAZING!!!! WOW. Absolutely EXCEEDED ALL of my expectations, from start to finish. I have had some really poor experiences with alterations in the past... I have had people say they wouldn't work with my material, gave me extremely long wait times for finishing the project, and I have sadly also worked with people who made me feel bad to ask questions. Well, Jessie I am happy to say is the polar opposite of those experiences! She has a bubbly, kind personality. She respects your ideas and is genuinely passionate and proud of what she does and is so excited to help make your visions/specific needs a reality. I had material from Etsy sewn on to the front of my corset style wedding dress and continued as straps meeting different material on the back. It came out flawless as if it were always there! She only needed 2 weeks to do the work and never made me feel bad about my many ideas or questions. She is an expert and always answered matter-of-factly and confidently, "YES, I can do that!" I would imagine there is little to nothing she can't do, however she is the expert and will be honest and straight forward with you I'm sure! To top everything off, her husband helped carry my finished dress out to my car. Such a pleasure having the opportunity to work with and meet these wonderful people. Cannot thank Jessie enough for helping my dreams come true! I will try to upload photos after the wedding since the dress is a secret! Long review but worth reading... I purchased a lace topper for my wedding dress from a pop-up show in Philadelphia from a company based in California. The top was exactly what I had been searching for and happily agreed to a very over-priced item. When the top arrived it seemed to be two sizes too small. The company refused to make good on the item, stating I must have gained weight in the time it took to arrive. I had to beg for extra lace to alter the top. Once received, shop after shop refused to do the work. Time and time again I was told the lace was too delicate and the material would not withstand alterations as well as the detailed appliques that would need to be removed and re-sewn by hand, not to mention the cost would likely exceed the original purchase price. Every shop suggested buying another lace top in a larger size. My fiancé, now husband, heard an ad for Jessie's Bridal on the radio and convinced me to make an appointment. Jessie confirmed my measurements were exactly the same at the time of purchase and felt so badly about what had happened. She smiled and told me not to worry. A week later I returned to try on the top... not only did it fit perfectly, it was impossible to see that any alterations had been made. When my fiancé moved here from the Philippines she wanted a traditional Filipino wedding dress. Of course you can’t just get them anywhere she had to order it online. She tried it on and it needed alteration (as most stuff from online would) we went looking for a tailor to do the alterations and found Jessie’s. Super friendly, willing to meet after hours if you make an appointment (I work a lot so hard to get anywhere 9-5) she also did my suit as I’ve put on a couple since I wore it last. My wife’s dress fit beautifully and my suit fit great she worked a miracle to make my suit fit. She added some accents to my wife’s dress to make it even more beautiful.
