Family owned business, Food is delicious, best tacos in Cumberland County. Food is seasoned properly and they provide generous portions at a fair price. They take credit which is a plus, alot of taco joints don't. Service is usually pretty friendly and food comes out fast. Pretty easy to park nearby, and usually not too crowded. They make their own home made bebidas, horchata, pineapple, Tamarindo and Jamaica drinks, but they don't always have them available sadly. They also make their own salsas which are super tasty.
Consistency is their only issue. They almost always run out of Aguacate (which is the best I've ever had btw), or other items. Especially if you come in during dinner time, expect for condiments to be missing. They can be a bit short staffed sometimes too, which means some things don't get the attention that they should, napkins, soap in bathroom, messy tables etc.. Place could use a bit of a make over. If you're not intimidated by the appearance you'll discover they have some pretty amazing food, friendly service and...
Read moreExpected a better experience. The waitress took nearly twenty minutes to take our order. Nowhere on the menu are there beverages. Waited about 25 minutes for the food to start arriving. What should have been fast to prepare, beef stew, was the last to arrive. The torta, which should be tasty. Was lacking in the delicious department. The Gorditas, were fair. However the beef stew, was thinly stocked. It was almost water. I get that the condiments are self-serve, in my experience the waitress should provide your condiments with your meal. This place is presented as a restaurant. One thing we enjoyed thoroughly were the beverages. The Agua de Horchata was refreshing and not too sweet. For such a lacking performance, the tip reflected our disappointment. For now, I will not recommend this establishment to family or friends. Perhaps on another occasion, this location can...
Read moreI am an Italian girl who loves trying all types of cuisine. My husband read an article about the top Mexican restaurants for tongue tacos and this place was on it, so we decided to try it. Upon entry, the first thing I noticed was how incredibly big the restaurant was. They even have what I believe to be is a stage. They might have live music. We ordered 4 tacos. 1 chicken, 1 beef and 2 tongue. I was adamant that I was not eating tongue, I gave in and let me tell you it was like eating filet mignon, just melted in your mouth. The beef tacos were tasty, seasoned properly with fresh onion and cilantro. The chicken taco I liked the least. Our meal came with fresh chips and 3 different dipping sauces. DELICIOUS!! Will definitely go back again. The best part it was only $20 for both of us...
