Victory Park was built many years ago to be a small farming community park. But outward migration from Columbus, Ohio happened and that small farm town park is now surrounded by a rapidly growing city which has done nothing to give the park a face-lift and a more modern look. So now, depending on how you look at it, the park may look like it came right out of Mayberry RFD and fill you with memories of days gone by. Or maybe you will see it as a dinosaur stuck in a modern civilization. I called the parks and Rec number only for it to be the wrong number and for there to be nothing the park can do!? Or at least that’s what they told me on the phone. And calling the cops was the only solution that parks and Rec had to offer even though we had no evidence of reservation. Read moreThe playground is very nice. I love that it has artificial grass turf instead of mulch or rocks. It cuts down on injuries and is rather soft, plus it's really nice for people and kids with grass allergies. There's a small playground area, a big kid playground area, basketball court, covered picnic area, bathrooms, water fountains, and plenty of parking.
