It can get quite expensive, but, it is really an experience you need to get at least once! They are very strict with it--if you are camping or have extra propane gas with you, you will need to turn them off. Plus, sometimes it's closed for short times if the winds are too strong for trucks and campers. We had to wait for about 15 mins for a storm to pass over when we were taking our camper. We traveled on a stormy time and on a sunny time too....
