The railroad museum that I had the pleasure of visiting was a truly remarkable experience. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by friendly and enthusiastic staff eager to answer any questions. The museum was clean, well-maintained, and had a great ambiance that made us feel like we had stepped back in time. For children who love trains, this museum is a dream come true. It offers many exhibits, displays, and interactive activities to keep them engaged and a small play area to get creative with other children visiting. The well-organized exhibits provide plenty of opportunities to learn about the history of trains, their development, and their role in transportation. One of the highlights of the museum was the collection of real-life train cars that visitors could explore. Seeing the old-fashioned trains and typical railroad historical items was very interesting. What impressed me the most about this museum was the effort put into making it family-friendly. Plenty of benches and seating areas, a gift shop filled with train-themed souvenirs, and more. In conclusion, I highly recommend this railroad museum to families with children interested in trains. It is a well-run, well-maintained, and engaging museum that offers a great educational experience. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about trains. All in all, a fantastic...
Read moreOur 5 y/o LOVED the "Potomac Module Crew" and "Lego Model Train" event. He wasn't the only one! Great setup and so much history to look at even if there isn't an event. The caboose outside, with the N gauge setup, was a hit, almost as much as the HO exhibit. Our little guy even got to run one of the remote control HO trains whostle and bell! We thank the FS Train Museum and Potomac Module Crew sooooo much! Definitely keep an eye out for special events because they are truly fun for the family train enthusiast, and...
