Taco Bell — Restaurant in Virginia

I would have left a bad review were it not for a wonderful young man named 'Abdullah who was working the midnight shift tonight and just rectified a messed up order. I had ordered 3 black bean hard shell tacos and I REPEATED my order TWICE to the individual taking the order. I had a feeling to check my order (never ignore that feeling) but I thought "trust the person" and went home.

I don't eat meat, so when I got home and I discovered 1. that I had 3 meat tacos and 2. I had been charged for two pico de gallos and they weren't even in the bag, I was PISSED. I drove back immediately (this was less than a half hour ago, just before 1:00 am) very upset. I think I even cursed when I explained the situation over the speaker system in the drive through.

'Abdullah was VERY understanding and professional. He rectified the situation that the OTHER person has screwed up. He offered me a drink for my trouble, extra time and gasoline, and some coupons. THAT'S GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. That's also what America is all about -- accountability; professionalism and responsibility.

I want to commend the young man at this location. If you have not reviewed given him a raise recently, please do so. He's busting his ass during midnight and working hard, never mind that he has the fasting of Ramadan to go through right now. 'Abdullah, this is for you. I want to wish you a Blessed and Happy Ramadan and thank you for being the professional...

UPDATE 05/22/21: I'm not sure if it's due to the pandemic or a change in management, but their standards have dropped. Wait times are much longer. On several trips I've found items missing from my order. Many of the prices on the menu are wrong (much lower than actually charged; one menu item listed as $10 was charged as $10.99.) ASK FOR YOUR RECEIPT - they will not give it to you automatically and it is not "in the bag."

Dropped review to three stars. The food is still good but their service needs work.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: This, IMHO, is one of the best Taco Bells in the area, and I go out of my way to come here! The food is consistently great, the staff is friendly, and the service is quick — what more could you want?

I can only speak to my drive-through experiences as I haven't been inside, but I have no reason to expect...

I had a reward for the Mexican pizza but since only the fourth farthest Taco Bell takes mobile orders with rewards, I had to drive over there and place my order and something I did like is there was no cool down on my rewards so I could use my other word for a free Baja blast back to back, which was really nice.

The pizza is mediocre at best there’s nothing pizza about it. It’s just too tortillas with beef in the middle and I think tomato sauce on top.

Staff was nice though it was a quick in and out, and no one said anything about using to rewards back to back which I was expecting.

It’s a Taco Bell so you’re not gonna get any gourmet food but if you’re planning to get the Mexican pizza, just get a crunchwrap it’s better...
