The Woodshed Venue — Attraction in Vista

We had the most amazing experience at The Woodshed for our wedding in October 2024, and it’s all thanks to their incredible coordinator and AWESOME venue! The coordinator was a dream to work with—organized, attentive, and truly invested in making our day flawless. Their expertise and care ensured that everything went smoothly, leaving us free to enjoy our celebration. The aesthetics of the venue were simple yet stunning, exceeding my expectations as a bride. It felt both elegant and welcoming, providing the perfect atmosphere for our vision for our big day. A couple (and not limited to!!) of my favorite features included the gorgeous plant wall, which added a unique and lush backdrop that I was obsessed with. The bar was another standout—a stylish and an open space where our guests could gather and socialize. There was an abundance of fantastic photo areas throughout the venue, charming nooks to modern spaces that really took our photos to the next level. A MAJOR Thank you to The Woodshed, for providing an extraordinary venue and outstanding service. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to celebrate our wedding! I'M OBSESSED! Also - just for reference, we did the all inclusive package, and chose the pizza menu (OMG AMAZING), DJ service (10/10 also) and were able to add different vendors for specialized requests. Had an ok experience at the woodshed! The venue itself was beautiful but we had quite a few hiccups that made us think twice about referring this venue.

During the ceromony, the bar next door was pretty loud. We were really upset that the bar next door that’s owned by the same company didn’t ensure that noise level was kept down during the ceromony. It was very obvious that a ceromony was going on next door. We had music going a while before. Our ceromony was only 15 mins long, but it was ruined by the bad noise that was very obvious and noted by our guests.

We didn’t have a bartender in the beginning. When there was a bartender, some of the water had spilled on the side and the bartender didn’t bother to help mop up and was on his phone half the time.

Floors were really dirty and guests who took off shoes ended up with pitch black feet and ruined my dress. I had picked up my dress when i was outside but obvs wasn’t going to hold my dress up walking down the aisle/indoors.

We’re thankful the venue was able to compensate us for these things that went wrong, but wish we didn’t have to. Would have opted to go with another venue at the same price to avoid these mistakes if I were able to look...

My husband and I got married at the Wood Shed Venue last month and where can I begin - we loved every part of working with the Wood Shed and how it shaped our beautiful wedding! We wanted a venue where we could source all of our vendors ourselves + we only wanted beer & wine available as alcoholic options for our guests. The Wood Shed ticked off those boxes plus so much more!

The venue itself is so incredibly spacious and GORGEOUS inside. There are tables & chairs already included and the beer & wine lists are insanely big. At our wedding we had 7 different beers and 7 wine options for our guests! Working with Kristina, the Venue Coordinator, was so easy! Any questions we had - whether it was 1 or 10, she answered quickly and with the info we needed. For the reception, we opened up the outside deck to include corn hole and beer pong which was a huge hit along with the dance floor we had inside!
