Hello Deli — Restaurant in Vista

Hello Deli was a hole in the wall that was hidden in the business park that I worked in.

I used to visit this deli fairly often as I loved their sandwiches. The best parts of the deli were the prices, portion sizes and the flavor. These sandwiches are stacked!

The atmosphere of the place though is not the best as it is showing its age. It is supposed to be reminiscent of New York with many of the classic images of the city there.

If you are simply going for the food then you will be hooked up. If you want the ambience then this is not the best option.

You can never go wrong with a Hello Deli sandwich. Something about these delicious sandwiches are much much different then your typical ones from grocery store delis. If you are regular you get bonus points because most of the staff there knows your order by memory, how they do it I don’t know but I can say the first two items for my order and they can finish describing it for me without hesitation. Why is this little place in the middle of an industrial park worth stopping by? One word: BACON!! Their BLT is delicious! I love getting it in a wrap and adding avocado and a little turkey. Seriously the best BLT I've had. They do know how to layer the bacon so that you get a mouthful with every bite. Sooo yummy!
