The Ferrell Center plays a role in making Waco such a great city! It's ran like a very well oiled machine! It's always clean and is not only host to home games for #1 ranked Baylor University Men and Women's basketball games, but it hosts a variety of other events. The construction on I -35 in Waco does cause traffic to run slower than normal, but past that there really are no other issues when attending your favorite events. Experiencing an event at the Ferrell Center is part of the excitement. They have a sound system that will rock you out of your seats. They have a huge jumbo-tron for you to easily view scores, replays etc and they have plenty of staff present who are always eager to lend a helpful hand and each of them are full of information for questions or issues from A-Z. Read moreWent to the Ferrell Center yesterday and watched the number 1 men's basketball team in the country Baylor University play Texas Christian University. Had a great time! I had general admission tickets, but there is not a bad seat in the arena. I could see the court and the players clearly even though I was in some of the furthest seats from the floor. The atmosphere was wonderful and Baylor was celebrating their 175th anniversary of the birth of their University. Crowd was very friendly. A lot of cool and exciting fireworks and video displays to motivate the fans. One particularly cool feature was they had Baylor staff giving out free boxes of popcorn. Baylor does a great job of hosting a basketball game at the Ferrell Center....

Parking is in a surface lot next to the Ferrell Center, and it is an easy walk to the entrance.
The environment at the Ferrell Center is electric, with Baylor fans enjoying their team play in their defending National Champion season.
I root for UT, but was impressed by how friendly the Baylor fans were.
Regarding the facilities, they are antiquated and will be soon replaced by a new arena on the Baylor campus.
