Martin Museum of Art — Attraction in Waco

A nice, small gallery, perfect for walking through when you have some time to kill and are interested. Definitely stop by, the student works on display are all wonderful and they usually have a special exhibit for the season. There's no cost of admission and the special exhibits are usually authentic, not replicas. One of the best art museums in Waco, despite its' humble size. This art museum is a lively little space with several rambling rooms. When I visited the galleries were divided into two separate exhibits and an art studio room geared toward kids. I want to start by saying that the art was absolutely lovely. That’s where the positivity ends. The woman working at the desk was quite rude when I tried to take a photo of a painting. It is not posted anywhere inside the galleries about no photography. She needs to work on her ability to work with the public and possibly her ability to be a nice human.
