The Waldo is a long-time tradition, now fully renovated and open for musical and theatrical performances again. The staff and management see a new future for this wonderful, small performance venue and it seems to have a bright future. The venue requires proof of vaccination for Covid-19 and masks are mandatory for all staff and visitors. We just attended a revitalized Maine Fiddle Festival, which was excellent, and we will take in the Monmouth Theatre Company's touring performance of Much Ado About Nothing on Wednesday. The theater was renovated about 2017, making it a very functional and effective performance hall for the Midcoast Maine region. The sound system and hall acoustics are excellent. Seating is on a main floor with a large rear balcony. I sat in the balcony on the side with a good view of the stage. Have attended other concerts since it was renovated.
