They called it stump house tunnel when I was a kid. There used to be a caboose up there on the track beside the tunnel where they sold snacks. Back when Clemson University college used to make cheese in there behind the first doorway. Glad to see it's still on the map for something to see in this area 😊 . There are a lot of trails around that area. Be careful, some of them are slippery and dangerous. The falls are dangerous And around the air shaft on top of the tunnel is a dangerous place. Read moreNot the best well-kept trail but it was at least well-marked. There was no lines in the parking lot but there were plenty of parking spaces. This trail shares the same trailhead as the Isaqueena trail. When I visited, the trail was marked with yellow blazes and there was a sign with the trail name on it at the trail head.
