Loved this trail. First time at Turkey Run. Got rained out but it was still great. Wearing sandals that I could get wet was a great idea. I wouldn’t have wanted to be wearing sneakers. It was slightly challenging because of the slippery rocks. I wouldn’t recommend this for absolute beginners. Reminded me of slot canyon hiking in Arizona. It was a warmer day, but it was really cool and comfortable in the ravines.

Turkey Run State Park is absolutely beautiful! The trails are adventurous with ladders, rocky paths, and stunning views. The sandstone canyons and suspension bridge make it feel like you’ve stepped into another world. A perfect mix of hiking, nature, and fun for all ages. definitely worth the trip!

Probably the best and most hyped trail in Indiana. Lots of steps. Lots of slippery spots. A Couple of Ladders. If you have bad hips, knees or trouble on slippery rocks - be warned.

The backpacking site is nice, but now you have to book a site on line it used to be first come, first serve. Now paying on line with a convenience fee which makes it no different than an actual fee for camping, so it's not worth the price. Backpacking is supposed to be free camping. That's the brilliance in...
