Having done quite a few escape rooms, this was a total let down. We completed the Escape the Moon held at the Armstrong Air and Space Museum. Sounds intriguing, right? Nope. First, the groups are way too big. We had roughly 15 people in our group. It was very frustrating as there was no communication, standing around, and not being able to know what was going on at different points. Second, there were not enough puzzles for everyone to be completing or working on at once. There were about 8 puzzles in total. It was more of a search for boxes "hidden" around the museum. Combine #1 & #2 and you have people standing around. Third, it was very difficult to tell what was in the escape room environment and what was a part of the actual museum. Things were not properly marked and it was very dark in the main area which made reading almost impossible. Fourth, the puzzles were basic and very easy to figure out. The first box opened (sitting out in the open) had 3 keys and the "command book" There was no lock, puzzle, or anything to figure out, it was unlocked.
This escape experience was $55 a person, which we thought would have created a high end escape experience. It did not. This was maybe a $25.00 experience at most. We have seen and completed more complex/elaborate puzzles, steps within rooms, and overall rooms for much less. We walked away very disappointed, frustrated, and bummed out over the experience. Maybe their other rooms are more geared towards experienced players, but I am not sure it is worth paying...

Read moreIf I could give this place 10 stars I absolutely would. My husband and I started going to escape rooms a couple years back and these escape rooms have never ceased to impress us. The staff are friendly and outgoing and make the experience so much better. Wether you are and escape room newbie or are looking for a challenge I highly recommend going here! We have been through all of the escape rooms, and while one of our favorites is sno-way home, the year round rooms are fantastic as well. We recently tried out “thirteen” it is a spooky yet challenging course to try as well. We’ve been to multiple rooms in surrounding areas and nothing we have tried yet has compared. Excited to see what else they bring in the...
