A tremendous "BLUES" concert, most especially with TOMMY CASTRO and his PAINKILLERS. The "other" performers, well were not really "our cup of tea"...but nonetheless outstanding with their interpretation of what "BLUES" is. The PACKARD MUSIC HALL, well, in need of some TLC, maybe "spruce up" the shaggy / overgrown bushes...and take some pride AND RESPONSIBILITY of and how the venue is perceived....maybe a little less about the $$$ profits $$$ and more about appeal. There are / were three (3) employees who went over and above in doing their "jobs". CHERYL (ticket window) - JAMES (security supervisor) - AND REBECCA (security director). This CHERYL AND JAMES truly were impressive in their professionalisms, ability to "connect", interact, AND make us feel APPRECIATED! They indeed DO deserve some type of recognition for leaving us with positive - Positive - POSITIVE thoughts and things to say. The concessions: Well, suffice it to say that we could have enjoyed the venue much more if - If - IF we could have enjoyed a couple of beers each! But we found that at $8.00 for a 16 ounce can of beer...a little $$ pricey $$. $5.00 to $6.00 certainly would have allowed us to enjoy life and music...but oh well: name of the game $$$ -money - money - MONEY - $$$.....certainly NOT the fun / relaxing / enjoyable event it COULD HAVE been. Β Β Β Read moreHello, I am writing about my experience at the Polar Express event from 12/21/24. I cannot tell you how disappointed I am. The kids involved in this experience did a wonderful job, however the amount we paid was not for a high school or middle school program. For 3 tickets and a polar pack I paid $187. That is not including the money I spent at the concession stand that I waited 30 min both times I waited in line. The description of this event does not hold up to what it actually ended up being. There was no information about our VIP visit with Santa and after the long wait for the concession, it was time to be seated. I assumed we would meet Santa Claus once the movie was complete. On our way out of the auditorium I asked a staff member about visiting Santa and they very rudely said "Oh no, its done!" I never complain about anything, however we paid for a professional experience or event. I have paid the same amount for tickets at playhouses in Cleveland and Pittsburgh. This event was very overpriced and even though the kids did a cute job dancing and acting - this was not how it was described. Very...

The place needs an update, if you are larger than a child; you will not like the tiny flip down seats, especially if there is someone next to you. The concession stand is like a movie theatre with a nice variety of items at reasonable prices. Alcohol is also sold there which is no biggie with the exception of having to watch a couple of drunks before the band even took the stage. Thereβs also a merchandise area. Thereβs no signage in the building pointing out where the merchandise area is at. Other than the mens restroom and concession stand, everything else is crammed in at the other side. Thereβs ample parking, event staff and security were friendly and helpful. The opening act Veers had their music so loud you couldnβt hear them singing. I love Blue October, but left there feeling let down. It seemed like Justin wasnβt that into it, the set list wasnβt very long. I definitely...
