Camp America Day Camp — Attraction in Warrington Township

My son has been to several camps over the years and has always complained about going or begged to let him stay home. This summer I desperately wanted him to have fun and not fight me on camp. Especially considering how expensive camp is. So I made the leap to pay a small fortune to send him to Camp America in hopes it would be a carefree summer. Our experience has been worth every penny. He comes home every day telling me all the things he did and how much fun he's having. He's discovering new things that he likes, but probably would have never tried if it wasn't for camp. He loves the food and is always sharing new things he's tried that he wants me to make at home! I love that they transport him to and from camp especially since both my husband and I commute 50 minutes each way to work every day this takes a huge burden off us. The Weekender trip my son said was the best weekend he's had!!! This makes me happy to see him building these memories. Awesome job Camp America Staff.

I also have to note the first day of camp my son wasn't too willing to join in on activities and I got a call to let me know and see how they could make him feel more comfortable. I told them he had a friend there but he's in a different bunk, but if they joined together for activities that may help him warm up. I was at "Camp America" for the first time today earlier, I was in Group C on the CMS Field Trip. And let me say, I had lots of fun at this place! The staff were so kind, especially Rachel, Chris, and Adrien. My favorite personally was the zip lining, because it was my first time doing it and doing it OVER THE LAKE? So much fun. But you know what WAS the difficult part about it, the rock climbing part, I don't know, but I'm a bigger dude, so rock climibing was kinda stressful for me, but I was able to get through it and having the time of my life. My husband and I were absolutely blown away by this camp. Every staff member we met and interacted with demonstrated the utmost professionalism. The array of regular activities and the thought and effort put into planning special events far exceeded any reasonable expectation. And of course we very much appreciated the care and attention given to our son. Every day, like magic, he got off of the van healthy and happy and without the slightest sunburn despite having been in 100 degree heat for 6 hours.
