CVS — Local services in Warrington Township

This is an absolute joke of a clinic with staff that doesn't even know how to read school physical forms. We took my son here for a routine school physical. The NP first said she needed his vaccine records - we provided them. He has all the required vaccines and is up to date. She told my husband that she was unable to sign the form because he didn't have a TB (tuberculosis) vaccine. This isn't even a vaccine that is required in PA, in fact, it's rarely if ever given in the US at all. It certainly isn't part of the required vaccines for schools - something I would expect a health care professional who is providing school physicals to know. The form did have a section for preventative health screenings, where it required her to screen him for TB. Apparently, she took that to mean it was a vaccine requirement. Google anything about TB vaccines and it will tell you they aren't required and rarely given, yet somehow this doctor didn't know the difference between a screening and a vaccine? I wouldn't trust her to put a band-aid on me, let alone give any medical...

My roommate was seen here. She is extremely sick and was seen by an NP who told her she won’t give her antibiotics for an additional 5 days despite my roommate making it clear she’s been sick for two weeks now, to which the response was “if I give you antibiotics you will get C Diff” this along with many other condescending remarks and obvious discrimination. My roommate cannot even speak due to how sick she is. When calling to at least get a note as she cannot work, we’ve had to speak with 3 different people none of whom are apparently capable of writing a note or sending an email. The front-of-store staff at this CVS is always very helpful and kind, even though they seem a little understaffed. They’re often busy stocking shelves, which can make it hard to find someone at the checkout, but I understand both tasks are important. It would be nice if CVS gave them more hours to make things a bit smoother for everyone.
