Did you know that the word gazebo comes from the italian phrase "gazebota" which means to gaze at boats? Most modern gazebos are sadly landlocked, and regulated to pathetic lawn and garden spaces. This is one of the last true "gazebos", as you can watch paddleboarders and wannabe yachtsmen take to the waves all while underneath a "bruschettini" which is the word for the roof of a "gazebo". The bruschettini also helps protect your head from falling quahog shells the seagulls dropped (happened to a friend of mine one time and they had to remove his cheeks).
