The New Jersey Sunflower Trail — Attraction in Washington Township

Had a good time. Admission price was reasonable but when online fees were added it seemed about almost the same as the in person price and became very pricey very quickly for 6 guests. I hope that in the future the price for tickets for kids is less than regular. Add ons could’ve been better i think $30 for a “ large” plastic bag just to pick peaches was a bit upsetting I wish guests were allowed to bring their own bags or baskets for a discount but I understand that profits go towards the farm.

The flowers were beautiful but I wish the staff responsible for overseeing that area were more attentive and approached me and asked if I needed any assistance or any shears to cut my flowers. I wasn’t aware I could borrow them until after I picked my flowers. But the sunflower trail was the most pleasant part for me it smelled wonderful and reminded me of a buttery...

Went this weekend to the Sunflower Festival and had an awesome time. Very family friendly and the activities were fun for all of us. The little ones enjoyed the tricycles and the hop-pity hops. Meandering through the sunflower trail was fun and the fun facts along the way were interesting. Who knew how long it takes a sunflower to grow from planting to seed head. Loved the cut flower fields and had a hard time not picking the whole field to take home. Definitely a good value for all the blooms. The sunflower trail is located in Von Thune farms. It's a great place to spend a nice day to pick fruit and cut sunflowers. It was really nice to walk through the trail and they have tons of photo op props.

You can bring your own clippers to cut flowers that you pay for before heading in and getting a wrist band. If you don't have clippers they will let you borrow one for a collateral of $10 or...
