Hidden gem in N. Bothell; no signs; hard to find first time; feels like you're miles away from the city but Burgermaster & Ezell's Chicken are 3 min away! Brought my kids to the awesome playground at the park entrance 15 yrs ago when there were no apartment complexes and housing developments on 183rd St. SE, only the Bailey Farm. However, never realized there was a nature boardwalk. Don't know how I missed it. 15 yrs later during the pandemic, I was looking for an easy walk/hike and rediscovered North Creek Park boardwalk. Free parking; awesome playground for kids; nature walk on 4~5ft wide wooden boardwalk floating on open wetlands; wide open; peaceful; beautiful birdsong drowns out the distant traffic noise of Bothell-Everett highway. Dogs on leash welcome; bicycles need to be walked (please don't ride, not enough space to comfortably & safely pass walkers); wheelchair accessible but may be bumpy; some loose planks and sections that feel like you're sinking but not really; dog owners PLEASE clean up after your pet; parents with strollers are better off not on the boardwalk; wetland water is shallow but a small child could drown if he/she fell into water; strollers rolling on boardwalk make a lot of noise for people who came to enjoy birds singing and nature sounds; wetlands previously owned by Ruth Bailey's family from 1891-1992; thankfully Snohomish County bought and preserved a natural habitat for wildlife and plant reserve instead of developers flooding the land with condominiums & cheap apartment complexes; good place to breathe fresh air and reflect; highly recommend 👍

An absolute hidden treasure! We took our two toddlers here for a picnic and play on the big toy before going for the scenic walk and man did we all have A BLAST! There were many many picnic tables options: covered, uncovered and even ones tucked away in more scenic areas. The play toy had really fun and unique features for a range of ages and the walk had informational stops along the path making it both recreational and educational. We searched for creatures a d critters and found quite a few! the kids were excited to come back to find more. I would be concerned about my 2 yr old walking the path if I didn't have extra people with me as there are no rails or sides and it's a single slip or step off the path into the water. Beyond that, it was gorgeous and a wonderful experience all around. We'll be back regularly!

Absolutely Great park and the trail is breathtaking beautiful! Only downfall is the bathroom is absolutely disgusting and there is some graffiti on signs. The playground is so much fun for all ages, there is an undercover shelter and picnic tables Which is a great place to have lunch or reserve for birthday parties, babyshower etc. the trail is a great easy accessible walk with lots of beautiful birds and plants to see! The signs say you can see beavers, salamanders and a few more animals but we did not see that when we were there. We however did see a rabbit, heron and some other cute birds! It's not a super far and long walk, I think it's absolutely perfect length! Very safe place and Parking lot is huge!

A nice easy walk on a boardwalk through marsh land with diversions that may or may not lead to a bench. There's signage with descriptions of the wildlife and foliage. Maybe bring your binoculars for some bird watching. On our visit we saw a Blue Heron. The area is open with little shade, so plan accordingly. The parking lot is adequate and there's a decent size playground at the entrance for the kiddos. There is also a picnic table area with porta potty's near by. We spent about an hour here, with my girlfriend exclaiming, "it's pretty, I enjoyed it.". Hopefully you will too!
