This place is so cool! The birds really will eat right out of your hand. You have to keep your eyes open for where they are congregating at the time you are there. Last time we went it was cold and windy so the birds were staying more in the woods than on the "ridge." Also, please don't feed birds bread or processed carbs. It's really bad for them and you can hurt them! If you keep your eyes open and have a little patience, you'll definitely make some feathered friends. Also helps to go when not many other...

Es un lugar muy bonito, desde el inicio cuando te adentras en los árboles puedes ya puedes escuchar a las aves, y basta con que pongas unas cuantas semillas en tu mano para que comienzen a llegar a ti un montón de pajaritos, aunque también tienes que ser paciente y esperar a que los pajaritos analizan si es seguro acercarse a ti. La subida es fácil, pero algo cansada, ya que aunque lleves raquetas de nieve de todas formas tus pies se hunden, así que en definitiva las necesitarás, ya que si vas con calzado normal tus piernas se hundirá por completo. La vista en la cima es hermosa hacia el lago tahoe. Como punto a mejorar estaría bien que el gobierno hiciera bancas para establecer puntos de descanso . Fue fácil encontrar...

This is a lovely hike if you are in beautiful Tahoe in winter. Lots of beautiful, sweeping views along the journey. The best view is from the ridge, overlooking Lake Tahoe. Carry some sunflower seeds to feed little birdies 🐦 ....
