Incredible XC ski tracks with gorgeous views!

As someone who has never skiied (XC or dowhill) before, I grabbed second hand equipment and jumped on these free trails for the first time just two winters ago. Nevada Nordic makes trying out skiing fun and accessible. Even though I'm too scared to go down all of the tracks still (lol).

Awesome community-groomed xc ski trail system! Groomed for both skate skiing and striding. They also groom a snowshoe trail to chickadee ridge. Other resorts in the area charge $45+ for trails like these but these don't require a pass (plus they have some of the best views in Tahoe!).
