Well run by smart board members and volunteers. Dog owners are conscientious. One of my favorite places in Vermont. One year later and this park is even better. I took some pics today... That's the Mayor of Barre in the black and red with the grey beard.

Large outdoor fenced in area. Smaller area for dogs who may be reactive to other dogs. Near the river with a path of you want to let your pup swim. Running water and large water bowl. Make sure to read the instructions on dog waste.

Remi and I love coming here. There is access to water for the dogs, a nice big fenced in area. Kept pretty clean, comfy chairs and a nice place to sit down and everyone that goes there is very nice.

This is a wonderful eco friendly dog park. Just be sure to remember that it is compost only so no plastic bags of any kind can be used to pickup the dog poop as they have compost bins for it. There are at least three scoops to pickup after pets. It also has a local little free library and two picnic tables under some shade. Update: after visiting a few other dog parks here in VT this one is by far the nicest. Shade and maintenance are key and this park provides both. PLEASE CLOSE ALL GATES WHEN LEAVING!

I wish that the folks that bring their pets ... CLEAN UP AFTER THEM !! QUITE OFTEN THEY DON'T DO SO. ALSO, LATCH THE GATES BEHIND THEM SELF. AT BOTH ENDS OF THE PARK.. LOVE THIS PARK 😀 ❤️ THANKS FOR THE GENERAL MAINTENANCE OF THE PARK. ☆☆ WOULD BE GREAT FOR A PORTABLE...
