Been wanting to try this place since the coming soon sign went up since it's right down the road from me. Was a bit nervous since a lot of Asian cuisine in Waterford can be hit or miss on quality. That coupled with it also being a grocery store I had no idea what to expect. I went in to order the sesame chicken but they were out. Ended up with the BK chicken and was blown away by how good it was. The ingredients were fresh and tasty, the portion size was perfect, and I love how the food is prepared right in front of you, not in some back room where you have no idea what's going on. I'd recommend anyone to give this place a shot. All the staff were friendly, and I think it has a lot of potential. I went the week they opened so a lot of the shelves on the grocery store side were still being stocked, but I did manage to pick something to try. They definitely have a lot of space so I'm excited to see what else gets put out for sale. I was a little bit dissapointed not to see any soju, saki, or alcohol not sure if they can't sell that, or if it will be added at some point... Wish them the best and hope they are successful. I know I will be a...
Read moreAbsolutely delighted with my experience at BK mart ! This hidden gem in our small town has everything I need to recreate authentic Thai dishes at home. The store is clean, well-organized, and filled with a wide variety of fresh produce, spices, sauces, and other essential ingredients. The prices are also very reasonable, especially considering the quality and range of products available.
I was particularly impressed with the store's commitment to sourcing local and imported products directly from Thailand. The authenticity of the ingredients truly elevates the flavors of my home-cooked meals. It's like having a piece of Thailand right in our small town!
I highly recommend BK to anyone who loves Thai cuisine or is curious to explore new flavors. Whether you're a seasoned cook or a novice in the kitchen, this store is a must-visit. Thank you, BK for bringing a taste of Asian to...
Read moreSeemed like a good place but i went to get the ingredients for sesame cold noodles.. no Furu, no sesame paste, and I stopped there because I'd already had a 1 lb bag of roasted sesame seeds and home made chili paste (minus star anise) and when I asked for these items they didn't have them. Also I might add that I was literally the only customer in the store and the guy at the checkstand would not look away from his phone game to even ask if he could help me find anything else on my list. I'm pretty sure that they will only be a store for people that want to eat prepared food and already know what they have and are going there. Sad because just a little help...
