Rolladium Family Fun Center — Attraction in Waterford Township

My 13 yr old daughter and her friend were dropped off last night 09/06/2024 for teen night and she said she had a good time but it seemed to me the staff there were jaded because of the attitude informing my daughter of the rules. She said the lady at the front demanded she spit out her gum, ok that’s fine but the tone from the lady was not necessary. But one rule that got me was she had to keep her skates on or she had to leave?? A black woman last night told her this. My daughter’s feet were hurting so she was trying to give her feet a rest and she’s being harassed by staff TWICE. The woman approached her again and said “Put your skates back on or you’ll have to leave now this is the second time I told you”. My daughter’s anxiety went up because she’s thinking does this lady know how old I am I can’t just leave I don’t drive. I’m mad because what is the big deal?? We paid to get in and rent skates and buy drinks and food and she can’t take her skates off for a minute?? You need to remove “family Fun center” from your title because you can’t trust the people here to treat your teens like family when they are dropped off! Skate World in Troy for teen...

Took my 2 sons 8yrs and 6yrs and we had a fantastic, fun and active time. The staff was GREAT and they still have some hot pretzels and slushys I thought were pretty tasty I haven't been to the Rolladium since I was a teenager, and oh my did it bring back some good times and some hard times... but mostly fun times! This was where we all hung out, the all-night skates and the New years skate nights, we practically grew up at this place. They have done some remodeling and changed some things to match up with today's times, but it is still the same old place. They gave my kids the ENTIRE experience!

This place is nice and has a nice rink but the hours of operation are stupid! I don't even know how they stay in buisness when they are only open for 20 hours out of the week. The biggest problem with this place is they only have 2 days with 6 hours total for my 8 year old to skate. Wednesday night for 2 hours and Saturday for a few hours! I bought my kid a expensive pair of skates from their proshop because you get 12 free skate sessions and I thought it would be worth it, but they are never open enough for my 8 year old to enjoy them. Oh they made my kid cry friday night!! Thought i could let him skate for a hour and they came out and said he couldnt skate because of teen night.
