Usually peaceful and quiet, great spot to just chill and stare some time away watching the river roll by and/or fishing. Every other Thursday evening from June thru August catch free concerts from generally very good bands.

The park extends quite away so you can fish above and below the dam. Very pretty with some places to sit, but bring your own chairs too. Very nice boat launch with pretty much parking too.

Cute little spot to stop and relax. My dogs kept wanting to go in the water, but probably not the best idea with all the waterfowl. The big Adirondack chairs are fun touch!
