Well designed and maintained park with one way traffic and reduced speed postings. It has soccer fields, baseball diamonds and tennis courts which will be closed Summer of 2019 for total remodel and openning again in the fall. Two nice playgrounds unfortunately, the community has decided to use crumb rubber or recycled tires for mulch. On hot days one can smell the fumes and if you have little ones who still put things in their mouths or kids who like to roll on the ground, dig etc. I would pause before letting them play on the playgrounds. Two shelters are available to provide for shade in the summer and a great place for a picnic lunch but know that the two shelter bathrooms are only open from May 1 to October 1. So if you are there for early Spring sports or late Fall sports plan to use a port a potty. Other places of interest in the park are the trail/walking bridge out into the wetland area where plenty of wildlife can be seen and water tower up on a hill for kids to enjoy soap box car racing, sledding or simply running up and down for exercise.
