Spring Garden Restaurant — Restaurant in Waunakee

We had a terrible experience here. The only good thing was that we were seated quickly as the restaurant was more than half empty. We ordered breakfast, and it took a very long time to get our food. The eggs came undercooked (whites were runny- they should be fully cooked for over easy) and had to be sent back. The coffee was decent, but the creamers had been sitting there long enough that they were leaking and the bowls that they were in looked like they hadn't been washed in a while. The food here is usually good , the staff is nice... We usually go for breakfast . Their pancakes leave something to be desired.😣 The texture is all right but the flavor is flat & VERY bland (similar to card board) DEFINITELY Nothing to write home about. A touch of vanilla or hint of cinnamon would make a huge difference. It gets a bit loud when they're busy... No dividers between tables or booths to help muffle some of the noise. The prices -ehh, average?/a bit high. (Compared to Denny's, I- Hop...Perkins) I will definitely go back, but I'll probably stick to their burgers which...

Decided to try this place out. The service was decent, however the lights in there are so dim it's hard to read the menu. The chicken noodle soup had good flavor but no chicken, not one single peace. The fried cod was great and the tarter sauce they had went well with it. Potatoes were good the gravey on them was a little different not sure how to explain. I did not like the coleslaw at all.
