Victorian Bridal & Formal Wear — Attraction in Waupaca

Highly unsatisfied. We ordered the tuxes for 7 men. Five of them were totally wrong sized upon trying them on. Too small by a mile. Unfortunately it seems like they are not capable taking simple measurements. Additionally, they did not change the wedding date and the suits came in two weeks early. They called us a week before the wedding to have us get them. Thank Jesus we had the guys try them on because they were not right. Morning before the wedding new things came in. After picking them up we had our best man's pants too big in the waist by several inches. When we tried to fix it the elastic was totally shot. Had to use pins. The vest elastic was totally worn out as well. Not able to adjust it properly. Moving on. The smallest adult groomsman had a shirt that ripped out at the seams during the dinner. It was not that he was crazy and ripped it but simple poor sewing. Victorian bridal and Nederbos should be ashamed of this product quality. When we brought up these issues to staff we were not met with the appropriate level of concern or care and never once did they try to apologize for any flaws in their product or their wrong measurements. The owner actually blamed the groomsmen when discussing our problems with the Bride. Lousy customer service and support.

At this time I wouldn't recommend this store or Nederbos to anyone who wants a decent wedding. Maybe to my ex though. These issues could have easily been prevented with the bare minimum of care on their part. It is not that hard to properly record a number. For the amount of money involved, and the importance of the day, I would take my business elsewhere. It does not make me happy to post comments like this. I cannot say enough great things about Victorian Bridal & Formal Wear! I first started looking for dresses in Appleton at David's, Elaine's, and Tiffany's Bridal. I couldn't find any dresses that really spoke to me and they felt very repetitive. When i went to Victorian Bridal & Formal I had my dress appointment with Riley along with my family. Riley was so attentive and listened to every one of my wants. After me and my group chose dresses for me to try on, Riley listened to my opinions and in one try found my dress (of course I tried on 8 more just to be sure). She was very patient with me searching past finding my dress. I have a hard time speaking up for myself and Riley was so ready to speak up for me. I also have to say that it felt like a very private appointment, even though I didn't book a private appointment.

I also had my alterations done there with Christine, one of the owners. She did an amazing job altering my dress and helping me decide on a veil. She is tremendously nice and very detail oriented and precise. Every detail of the dress was perfect. She was very communicative and made sure I was happy and comfortable every step of the way. I had a destination wedding, and Christine helped pack my dress in my carry-on so that it traveled carefully and safely. She even taught me how to steam my dress and veil so that I could make sure it looked perfect on my wedding day.

It was the perfect dress for me and my wedding. Everyone was so kind and invested. It is very clear that every single employee and owner cared about every single client and dress.

If you want to feel beautiful, important, and heard when wedding dress shopping, go to Victorian Bridal. I can’t put it into words how amazing my experience was and how perfect my dress turned out. When trying on dresses, Kati was beyond helpful with picking out gowns that fit my body style, what I had in mind, and what my party had in mind. Based on her expertise, I picked a gown that was nowhere near my Pinterest board. After ordering my dress in April 2024, I was told it would arrive October/November. It ended up arriving at the very beginning of October and Bailey (one of the owners) let me know immediately and told me I could come try it on whenever. Kati did an AMAZING job with measurements because it fit like a glove. I tried it on multiple times before I started fittings thanks to how welcoming and accommodating Bailey was. When it came to alterations, Christine did a phenomenal job. The length of my gown was perfect. She listened to every request I had, and made it into my absolute dream gown.
