King Cole winery — Attraction in Wayne Township

I got a bunch of flavors to try and so far lime mint was terrible I actually had to trash it! Tasted and smelled like whiskey or something! Cherry definitely isnt my favorite either I’m not sure if i can even finish that bottle but strawberry mango on the other hand is good although my bottle i got at a festival over the summer tasted better! Raspberry was great, caramel apple i wasnt able to drink….it too had that weird whiskey smell and just wasnt my type of flavor! Watermelon was definitely my favorite one that tasted how a good sweet fruity wine should taste! I saved concord for last because usually all concords taste similiar and i love concord wine….this however ended up down the drain! It had that weird whiskey smell(not as bad as some of the other flavors) and wasnt sweet or grapey! It tastes like a raisin/prune and was unlike any concord i have ever had before, yuck! Im not sure if i got bad bottles(they were on sale buy 6 get one free i believe) or if this is just what all there wines taste like but i have sampled a few at a festival before and they tasted like good fruity wines and didnt have this whiskey type smell. I had the pleasure of going to King Cole winery. And at first you kind of think that it's somebody's home, but once you walk through the door it's actually a winery. A little on the small side but behind that door are hidden gems if you are into sweet wines. Dottie is the sweetest person that you could ever meet and she was wonderful with our wine tasting experience. All I can say is the wine is fantastic. Found this small Little wine business hidden away in schulykill haven.the owner was super friendly and the wines are subservient! Flavors you never would have tried anywhere on the major places.
