Golden China Restaurant — Restaurant in Wayne Township

I've been buying food from this restaurant for a few years the lady and her husband are usually the people cooking and handling customer service. They're always very polite and respectful. The food is usually exceptional. However, I went into the restaurant yesterday and was greeted by a older Asian lady ( I encountered her once in the past) I met her once but she's never in the store. My first encounter with her she was very rude but Thankfully the other lady intervened and smoothed things over. Well, yesterday she again was treating me in a not so pleasant manner. She had a disgusting attitude. She demanded that I pay for my food before it was prepared and ready. I told her I'd prefer to wait, as I've alway done. She then tells the other lady that I wanted to wait to pay in a suspicious sense, they both then stood up at the counter staring at me I assume to challenge the fact that I chose to wait to pay. I had to explain to the lady again that I'd prefer to wait. I then reminded her of who I am Considering I moved away and haven't seen her in awhile she'd obviouslforgotten. She then proceeds to walk away but the older Asian women continued to be condescending. Upon checking me out I had my credit card not cash. My order was less the 10$ ( They have a 10$ minimum if credit or debit cards are used) She gives me a disgusting look, points her finger in my face and yells " Next time you bring cash or pay 10$". She snatches my card out my hand, slams my receipt on the counter and tells me to sign while aggressively tapping the receipt with her fingernail. I had to tell her to be respectful and not speak to me in the manner she was, mind you there's other customers in the store, so obviously I feel embarrassed. She then attempts to gaslight me by pretending to be confused by my implication of her rudeness. She has this smirk on her face and proceeds try and engage me in a argument. I instead walked away, the other lady takes my food and tosses it on the counter towards me. I've never in my life been treated like that!. I was absolutely appalled. I am a African American women and I do believe that I was treated in which I was because of my race. I noticed that every white person who were being checked out, were not told to pay for their order beforehand, as they demanded for me to do. I also noticed that upon checking out the white customers "Please" and "Thank you" was how they were spoken to, they even softened their voices and smiled at them. If you are of African race do not support this establishment. The older Asian lady is a racist!. The irony is my ancestors paved a way for them to be afforded the privilege to work, function, and have businesses in this country, yet they showed me zero respect. They were more concerned with catering to their white counterparts. I will never...

4 years I've been coming to this place cuz it's the only place that actually has good food. Yesterday I called to place my to-go order I specifically asked for no egg and no vegetables but the lady got so mad when I said no egg and snapped back at me, we don't use egg! She did not hear when I said vegetables too.. I have never approached the most rude person in my life I walk in and she's just not a happy person she's an older lady and looking through the reviews apparently I'm not the only one.
