it was our first time going to a public outdoor pool and I have mixed feelings about it. I love the fact that there is a 'wading' pool for the young ones and that it separated by a fence from the larger pool however it was a little frustrating having to walk a ways just to get into the wading pool area when there was a gate opening but it was locked and only the lifeguards were allowed to go through it. other thing that was a bit of a bummer was that they do not allow any flotation devices, they do have adorable little foam float boards for the wading area but my 3 year old wanted to go in the big pool but was too afraid to do so without the life jacket. I thought the lifeguards were incredible and very observant and alert. I think that the prices are very reasonable. overall I would say it's a great park close to home that I would love to...
Read moreThis is a great park with a good variety of activities. Our family loves the pool (including a kiddy pool area) and the playground (shared with the school). We love to bike the path that loops around it because the older kids can go as fast as they want and the younger ones can take their time (especially when they feel like exploring everything). I've seen people sled in the winter. I've had nerf gun battles with some of my kids and their friends. There are also tennis courts, a baseball field and skate park, as well as basket ball hoops (also shared with the school). All this right next to a golf course. Again, a great park with plenty...
