Atomic Wings West — Restaurant in Wayne Township

So this is my second time coming here, the first time I was absolutely not a fan. I got the 20 piece special that they had going, and the chicken wings were just not great. It took 35 minutes even though no one was there, and the breading is very similar to Buffalo Wild Wings which I can’t stand, it’s not really a breading on them it’s more of a very thin fried skin, which was flavorless and a little rubbery. Which is the reason I can’t stand Buffalo Wild Wings. I looked past my bad experience though after the first time, because I realize sometimes things just take longer and the chicken wings just weren’t my style.

Well I decided to finally give them another try and saw they had a 9.99 Deal on chicken sandwiches, I got my sandwich and it was drenched in buffalo sauce, I mean it was swimming in sauce. You guys have to realize not everyone likes their food drenched in 8 lbs of sauce, the bread was soggy on the inside and out and the sandwich was mushy no crunch in the chicken. Just all around not a fan, and the prices are astronomical, obviously the 9.99 deal isn’t bad but if you just order off the menu it’s very high priced.

I was hoping it was just a one off experience and I’d like it the second time I tried, but I was very wrong I only dislike the place more. If not for the amazing and friendly staff, I would probably be...

I like the place it's for an inviting atmosphere. However, the pop machine sided all loud and annoying. I was disappointed that I wasn't greeted by the owner and associates who sat within eye view. So I finished my meal, and I was wishing they had napkins on the table along with condiments. Oh, and the next set of guests that entered and approached the counter was greeted by the owner, and he explained their menu suggestions, etc. I wasn't told to come back and see us again or simmering to that nature. I would recommend this place to family...

The wife and I decided to try the new location. Upon entering, the layout is much better than the other location. They also have a beer tap where it fills the cup from the bottom up. Pretty cool. We ordered boneless wings and a buffalo chicken sandwich. As usual, the food is very good for a sit down fast food type restaurant. Better than most bar food. The owner was super nice.
