During my transaction the cashier called the next customer but I had not even started the process of checking out. I told the cashier to respect my privacy as I was going to put in my personal debit pin number on my business card and she said "Sorry that is our policy, NEXT CUSTOMER" not only was the customer right behind me the whole time while I was checking myself out I had to grab my own receipt. My privacy was violated. Under the P.I.P.A. act it states you (Ross) are legally obliged to develop policies and practices to meet your responsibilities under the personal information protection law that applies to you. You also have to designate an employee to be responsible for ensuring your business complies with the law. Section 17 also states that you are responsible for security measures to protect customers personal information. In the fitting room I wanted to try on a two piece bathing suit but the sensor would not allow that, when I asked to remove to try on she said to go wait in line have them take it off and bring it back escorted by Loss Prevention. That is absurd and a customer should not have to do that especially when you have a extra attendant and a manager walking around with a clip board. Will never shop at a ross for these two reasons. Read moreWas just there this Monday had poor customer service was interested in the jewelry department which I was waiting there from the beginning of the moment where I stepped in I asked the security there if I can get help I was not giving help so I told him it's okay I'm going to walk around the store and check it out come back I came right back after 10 minutes of walking around the store and still communicated with them and still had the same weight so I was basically waiting for help for 20 minutes and I believe if I was in the store location at rolling Hills I have gotten a different treatment...I believe no matter who you are where you're at or any location you should treat every customer the same way that's how you get the same experience. Sometimes you find good things at these stores where if you don't buy them at the moment you probably won't get them anywhere else at the same price I really want it the watch it was around $200 I guess I walked out the store with nothing felt kind of disappointed cuz I really need a watch for my job but I guess today I learned a lesson about Ross is not a good customer service store at the sepulveda and Vermont location the lion was all the way to the back of the store. Read moreI have shop here quite a few times and Had no issues, yet I came into the store and I’m a shopaholic I love clothes so I’m looking at shirts grabbing what I like. I had my purse closed and sitting in my basket so I noticed the security lady walking around but I assumed it was just her checking out the store so I paid it no mind. Then I noticed every where I walked she was there. Again I let it go I had my selection walked to the dressing room. Spoke very friendly with the person back there and asked about leaving my basket. I go into the dressing room and started pulling off my clothing and I turn and look and see feet at my dressing room door so I continue trying on clothes and notice the feet never moved so I opened the door and it’s the damn security lady so damn close to the door that when I opened it we damn near kissed so I stood there looked her up and down and asked where is your boss. She said oh sorry and ran out of there. By then I was instantly annoyed I asked for a manager nobody came out so I called their corporate office and filed a complaint for the whole week I bothered them about the mistreatment until they reached out to the store.
