Glassie Ladies Stained Glass Studio — Attraction in West Columbia

Glassie Ladies Glass studio has been on my list for quite a while. Ive been intrigue for many yrs about the beautiful glass process. I called and spoke to the owner about signing up for a ornament class. She explained the class and told me I could pay upon arrival. They all made me feel really welcome during the class. I signed in and picked out 3 pre cut ornaments to decorate for the evening. There were plenty precut glass choices for everyone to pick from. I've never seen so many glass choices in my life, it was truly a learning an amazing experience. I cut my glass and decorated my ornaments for approximately 1.5hrs. Time flew by very quickly. The class atmosphere was really therapeutic and relaxing.

I want to start out by saying that I've been a customer of Glassie Ladies for years. This is a friendly and comfortable glass studio for the general public where most anyone can learn about, and work with beautiful stained glass (art glass). The inventory of colors and textures of glass, and the availability of related supplies is reason enough to shop here, but the owner and staff are always happy to freely share their knowledge of various techniques for working with glass. Here, one can enjoy lessons to learn how to design and build stained glass windows, work with high-temperature glass kilns to create unique glass compositions, and build mosaic glass projects.
