Tempur-Pedic Flagship Store — Attraction in West Hartford

We had purchased a Lux firm Tempur Pedic in January and had an exceptional experience at West Hartford . As these beds are hefty in price we wanted to make sure we were doing the right thing. We met Karin and knew Tempur Pedic was where we needed to be.I have to say Karin was so knowledgeable and patient with us we felt we had made the right choice. She was friendly not pushy and honest.We had a Tempur Pedic for 19 years already but there was a lot to learn and Karin made it seamless.

Unfortunately for us the firm Tempur turned out to be too firm. So knowing the company had a great one time return policy we went back and met Dana. Dana turned out to be just as knowledgeable as Karin, had no issues with the fact we were there because we weren’t satisfied with our purchase. He helped us in a direction to find a mattress that met both my and my girlfriends needs.

For us we went back a third time as we were definitely “ bed drunk” as they say after meeting Dana. This time both Dana and Karin were there and we easily made our decision. And we are now waiting for the mattress to arrive.

I know we would not have received the personal attention we received at the West Hartford Tempur Pedic if we decided to buy a Tempur Pedic elsewhere. Karin and Dana definitely know the product and didn’t push us to buy. If your considering Tempur Pedic give Karin and Dana a try. Like I said this was not my first Tempur Pedic purchase and had done my homework before hand. I learned more than I thought I would with Karin and Dana. We most appreciated their honesty about the product and non pushy sales approach. If your even just considering a Tempur Pedic I highly recommend giving them a try. And I am not one to write reviews ever but we weren’t satisfied with our purchase and had a positive experience all three times we were there. I can’t wait for our delivery and expect to be totally satisfied...Thanks...

9/7/21 EDIT: Still keeping the 5* review because of the staff alone, and I'd still recommend the store, but buyer beware - the neck pillow I purchased in the store does not seem to be the same pillow that I tested in the store. I've had this pillow long enough to know now that it is rock solid hard and does not seem to soften at all from heat. Even during use, my head just rests on top of it and it's one of the most uncomfortable pillows I've ever used. I've sat on this thing for hours to try and warm it up, and it just does nothing to help. The neck pillow I tried in the store had much more give to it, cradled my head and neck softly and provided support, but still sunk in a bit. I was even told that the one I was purchasing was softer than the "cooling" neck pillow. This pillow is labeled as "extra firm" and boy is it. I can't even use it, it's unbearable to sleep with. The fact that the neck part does not give at all is actually giving me worse neck pain. Stay away from this neck pillow.

OLD Review: Christopher was extremely helpful and a pleasure to work with. He answered every question we had and made our experience enjoyable. Being able to try the pillows and mattresses in store made the entire process so much easier, so I would definitely recommend...

Today Judy & I purchased our new Tempur-Pedic Luxe Breeze (King-Firm).

A Month ago we went into your West Hartford Blue Back store and were greeted by Karin (Store Manager) & Carlos (Team Lead). We asked if we could think about this purchase for a day or so and both Karin & Carlos without a second of thought said by all means. After leaving based upon the service and great attitude of both Karin & Carlos and of course the Wonderful product Judy & I decided to go back to the store and make our purchase. But as we all know G-d works in mysteriece ways and sad to say Judy became ill. I called the store to tell both Karin & Carlos the situation and they said they understood and hopefully when Judy gets better they would love to see us come back and & hopefully things get better with Judy they will be there for us. During the last couple of weeks both Kerin & Carlos called to see how Judy was feeling.(No sales of any kind were discussed) Well thank G-d Judy is doing fine and today only because the way both Kerin & Carlos handled our situation we made our purchase. Tempur-Pedic is a wonderfiul product but Kerin & Carlos are OUTSTANDING!!! WE feel like they are part of our family, Again Thanks so much, Richard...
