The flowers are stunning, no doubt. Absolutely beautiful arrangement, certainly professionally cut and prepared, super nice. Wifey was happy in the end (:

But...

And yes, there is a but - the logistics is something to reconsider. For some reason, my wife (the recipient) was getting step by step updates on the order status, which ruined the whole surprise. I did provide her contact info, but only under the recipient information field. And it stated clearly that the recipient would ONLY be contacted if it's absolutely necessary (in case of an emergency, if the delivery driver is lost, etc.). She was getting text messages when her order was ready, when the driver headed out, when the driver is near, and so on. So, as you can imagine, she clearly knew something was coming 😬

I, in turn, though being the person who placed the order, and providing MY contact info (email, phone number), haven't received a single update on the order. When placing my order, I provided clear instructions on how to manage the delivery (wifey works at a hospital), but I couldn't possibly imagine that she would be the main (and only) point of contact in this situation.

When I called the shop to find out why the communication was done this way, the lady (though very polite and courteous) explained that this is just how they do it when the buyer (me) is out of state - they simply update the recipient on the oder "just to make sure it gets delivered where it needs to go." The intention is good, but I just can't wrap my head around why couldn't they reach out to me instead of her first, even if I'm out of state. They didn't even try. It's not like I'm on a different planet, ya know? Cellular service still works ĀÆ(惄)/ĀÆ

I even called the flower shop on the day of the delivery, around noon, to check in on my order, because up until that point I haven't gotten any update. So, I had to make the first contact, and made myself clearly available and reachable. I repeated the delivery instructions to the florist working on this order. Next thing I know, my wife is being bombarded with text messages about her SURPRISE flower delivery for our anniversary šŸ™„

Like come on, this kind of defeats the whole purpose of a flower delivery service. Isn't it a given that all of the oder update related communication should be handled with the buyer?

Not sure if anyone had a similar experience, but this is something to keep in mind for the future.

Beautiful...

I decided to give this flower shop a try for a boutonniere for my daughter for winter formal and I’m highly disappointed. When I went into order one question I specifically asked was ā€œare they magnet or pinā€ I was told they are magnet. I go to pick up today and it definitely wasn’t magnet it was pin. When I asked about it I’m told ā€œwe ran out of magnets and couldn’t get more, I’ll give you a bigger pin or you can go to Google or Instagram and see the new way of putting them in the pocketā€ that’s not what I wanted, I should’ve been called and I could’ve went somewhere else. Also, I am not impressed with the boutonniere being put in a cellophane baggie. It could easily get smashed or ruined. I have never seen them in a baggy. Lastly, I’m not impressed with the way the flowers look there’s some brown to them. I have never had this experience with other flower shops. I’ll just stick to my original flower shop even though it’ll mean driving completely out of my way. I’ll never return and when you reply I’m ready for the excuses or you finding a way to blame it on me, the customer as you have done in previous reviews of people who are not happy with what...

I decided to try SF due to a bad experience with FP. Well I have to say I should have stuck with FP. I paid for the deluxe arrangement near 130.00. The picture of the arrangement was nowhere near what was delivered. I read that the flowers may be out of season so some things may change, but, the entire arrangement is different. She liked them so I didn't put too much weight into it. The problem I have is I paid 130 for a bouquet that was dead less than 24 hours later, its size, not deluxe. I have never been so disappointed and felt more taken in my life. Arrangements this size and quality are 40-50 bucks at Harmons and last week’s. I definitely do not recommend. I have added photos of what I thought I was getting, what I got, and what it looks like less than 24 hours later. I also threw a can in one pick to show the size of this deluxe...
