This venue is suitable for children aged 6 and under and is best enjoyed within a short visit of about 10 minutes. Please note that if you are using a Get Out Pass, it only grants free access to the petting zoo; the roller coaster, train rides, and pony rides require additional purchase via punch passes or stamp cards, which may be somewhat misleading.
The petting zoo features animals such as donkeys, large birds, chickens, bunnies, goats, and a small cow. Visitors are allowed to enter the fenced areas to get up close and personal with the animals, which is a nice touch.
Concessions are available at the Saloon, offering snacks and drinks in a small, moving space that accommodates up to three people. However, the coolers were only partially stocked during my visit.
The park includes several small wooden buildings, such as a sheriff’s jail, a school with a slide, and a bank. While these structures are charming and well-themed, they are quite small and primarily serve as photo opportunities rather than interactive play areas.
Entry is unstaffed; visitors simply walk in and see a sign indicating that admission is free, which may be confusing or concerning for some.
Overall, this is a good spot for taking pictures and for young children, especially if you have modest expectations. As a newer establishment, there is potential for improvement over time. However, based on my first impression, it currently falls short of...
Read moreWe took my 5 year old granddaughter here on Mother's Day weekend. While we were there, there was a private birthday going on and there was still little to no wait to do any of the activities. There are fun rides for the kids and pony rides. There's even a horse ride for the adults. The animals in the petting zoo are so sweet and docile. My granddaughter pet all of them...even the emus! And the staff...oh my goodness...where do I start. They are all so friendly and it's obvious they all love what they do. Most of the staff are volunteers and they really make it an incredible experience for all ages. Plus...all of the animals there are rescues so that makes what they do there even more special. It is very inexpensive and well worth more than the cost. Please, if you get the chance, make it a point to check this place out. The kids will love it and, trust me, you won't walk out of there without a smile on your face. Whether you stay for 5 minutes or 3 hours (like we did), you won't be disappointed. We can't wait...
Read moreI went with my 8 other family members for my 35th birthday. It was an absolute blast. We were able to pet 5 day old calves, multiple goats, chickens, baby sheeps, donkeys, and miniature horses. We paid 2 dollars to feed the animals. And we love that they are not just a "petting zoo" but actually rescue abused animals from the police and other facilities. Also, my family members are older and have mobility issues. There were several tables with umbrellas and there was a cemented sidewalk so my grandma in her wheelchair, could feed and interact with the animals. This petting zoo is not only for children but elderly and disabled individuals and it was greatly appreciated the thought they put into it making it accessible. Staff were so knowledgeable and extremely friendly, especially Mercedes. I already told my friends and other family members about this place. We spent 3 hours there and it was a...
