Absolutely beautiful! I can’t believe I spent a whole year living at The Quarters without going to see this place which is really nearby. Well, I owe that to my zero interests in Hiking before I got into that hobby from my visit to California. I and a friend have decided to go hiking at all of the trails nearby and Celery Bog was the deciding factor for that. We will see more places and I will review them here. Read moreOne of the hidden gems for the birding community! Each migration season you don’t have to guess where I’ll be, Celery Bog is the only place for me! Hahaha but truly it is the perfect stop for sand hill cranes, cackling geese, red tailed hawks, bald eagles, mute swans, osprey, northern harriers, cormorants, eastern screech owls, hooded mergansers, snowy geese, warblers, pileated woodpeckers, nuthatches, cardinals, you name it! I’ve loved coming here, and walking the trails never gets old, even after five years of exploring! Definitely make a stop and enjoy it for yourself!

The trails can get a little muddy, but they try to keep them mulched as much as possible, or have board walks over the wetest areas. The park is open year round during daylight hours.
