I’m not usually one to write bad reviews about fast food employees, especially because I worked at Chick-fil-A all through high school, so I understand the struggles. I never had a bad experience here until today. I understand that it was packed due to the free sandwich promotion, but the girl working the window at approximately 12:30pm on 2/11/24 was so stressed out she couldn’t even comprehend what I was saying. My boyfriend and I redeemed our free chicken sandwich rewards, and then ordered two large sweet teas. So the only thing I would be paying for is the two teas since the sandwiches were free. I got to the window and the girl said “10.50.” I was immediately confused, and asked if she took off both chicken sandwiches. She rolled her eyes and said yes, then held out her hand for my payment. Again, I clarified with her that all I should be paying for is two large teas, which I KNOW do not cost 10.50! I come here pretty often because I like their tea, and have never paid a price over 3 dollars! She angrily said the total was 10.50, and I told her just to take the teas off the order then, and she basically shoved the food at me. I don’t know if she rang me up wrong or was looking at the wrong order, but she was completely unwilling and unable to understand how two teas should NOT cost 10.50. I even looked at the menu afterwards, two teas would cost about 5.50-6 bucks WITH tax 😂 I should’ve just asked for a manager, but decided against inconveniencing them since they were so busy. Someone get this girl some glasses, and make sure you aren’t getting charged 5...
Read moreI came and got a 40 dollar order they were super busy so my Mac and cheese came open in the bag, and my mushrooms burnt through the foam container. Bryce the manager had us come back through he made it right even tho we were very happy w the meal it was a few mess ups that happens w being busy. But he made it right and we will always be costumers. And awesome human and a great business. Foods also delicious
Ok so I went back... Someone made a mistake on my cayenne ranch chicken. Came back the next day they made it right again. Than came back the same day and got my entire family food. I will say day shift definitely produces a better product. Just from this last experience. But both trips today were awesome! Costumer service is amazing. Absolutely give them a try I can only recommend day shifts cayenne ranch. Also go online even if you don't order online cuz when you order online it'll show you you can get any of the sandwiches. Splashed in like 10 different sauces. So I got a Cayenne ranch sandwich. But then I also got a Cayenne ranch sandwich with sweet chili pepper sauce. So if you go online you see far more options and you can change up your sandwich like garlic parm they, lemon pepper... They haven't all kinds of stuff that you can put on your chicken in the same sandwich....
Read moreUpdate: I tried them again to give them a second chance. The chicken was still completely tasteless, dry, and very disappointing. For a restaurant that is supposed to be specializing in chicken, you would think that would be their focus to make sure it was good. It tasted like it had no seasoning on it at all. I tried to order the fried mushrooms but got fried pickles instead. To be fair I'm not positive what I actually said so I did not complain. The fried pickles were decent. Part of me would be interested in trying the fried mushrooms, but I honestly doubt I will go back because if I can't get decent chicken to go with it what's the point.
This was my first time trying Slim Chickens. I've been hearing a lot about them opening and all the hype around it. I was not impressed. The chicken was bland and a little tasteless and the fries were mushy. I crisped up the fries in the oven which helped. The Texas toast was completely burnt on one side. Their ranch dressing and honey mustard we're really good. The food was just mediocre at best. The sweet tea was not very sweet, especially if you like it...
