Cedaroak Boat Ramp — Attraction in West Linn

Our favorite place to take new paddlers. There is a nice calm area that boats don’t bother with that’s a great intro spot to kayaking and SUPing. Lots of people swimming and fishing along the banks. Stronger paddlers can go out on the river and contend with the wind, current and boat wake. A lot of boaters around here so it’s always a contention with big wake boats zooming by. Cedaroak boat ramp is a public boat launch. There's plenty of parking here, and the waters are pretty calm so it's pretty easy to launch your boat, canoe or whatever you want to float out on the river on.

The area can get crowded on the weekends during good weather, but that's to be expected. There aren't a lot of other public boat launches nearby. Clackamette Park and Willamette Park down near 10th Street are probably the next two...

There is boat ramp. And next of boat ramp, there is a small size sandy beach. Kayak could be launched in either location. We also have a bay type of landscape. So we have an option to choose calmer water area to relax or enjoy paddling at the current river (not rapid at all) outside of bay.
